Your <a href=\"https:\/\/vcahospitals.com\/know-your-pet\/dog-behavior-and-training-dominance-alpha-and-pack-leadership-what-does-it-really-mean\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">dog\u2019s pack instinct<\/a> leads him to be loyal to all his pack members, including other pets and people in your family.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">3. <strong>Your dog loves you.<\/strong> Research has proven that dogs have shown signs of loving their owners.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nature.com\/articles\/s41598-020-79247-5\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a 2020 study<\/a>, dogs were presented with their owner\u2019s scent while their brains were scanned. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Scientists could see the parts of the brain associated with positive emotions and joy light up when dogs smell their owners' scent.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In a similar study, dogs were made to watch their owner negatively interact<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pmc\/articles\/PMC3469536\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u00a0with a stranger<\/a>. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When the dog was later allowed to interact with the stranger, they didn\u2019t want anything to do with them. How\u2019s that for loyalty?<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><strong>How to foster the owner-pet bond<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">While dogs are naturally loyal pets, you may be looking for ways to foster the bond between the two of you.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Some dog breeds are typically <a href=\"https:\/\/topdogtips.com\/hachiko-at-100-remembering-worlds-most-loyal-dog\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">more loyal<\/a> than others.
